| Friday was such a beautiful day. The children were given gauzy bug nets and set off to collect specimens. |

| They ran their hearts out, no bug was safe. |

| Children used magnifying glasses to get a better look at insects and other natural objects. |
 |
| We made a dent in the caterpillar population. |
 |
| It was hard work. There was some disappointment. |
