Turn and Talk-part of the shared reading experience

Students in our classroom have been learning how to turn and talk to a partner.  This strategy enhances oral language skills as well as supports cooperative learning.  The students turned and talked about their loveys during the morning session.  The afternoon session turned and talked about three-dimensional artifacts, noting similarities and differences.
