| The children were encourages to use their sense of taste to taste test 3 varieties of apples and vote for their favorite using a picture (red, green or yellow) of an apple. We counted how many children thought red tasted the best, yellow and green. We compared red to yellow, yellow to green and red to green. How many more children thought the green apples tasted better than the yellow.? How many children liked red and yellow apples best? There were many ways to use our mathematical thinking and to explain our thinking. |
