Week One 2017!

Tiny Town friends making up a home.  Sociodramatic play uses more realistic props for younger children to support or scaffold their play themes or roles.  You'll notice this in the Housekeeping Dramatic Play area as well.

Familiar themes will be balanced with novelty throughout the school year.

The provision of accessories in the environment relates again to providing children with realistic props.  This clock provides children with exposure to numbers, time, short and long, big and small (hands) or so I was told by this little friend.

Here two friends investigate items on the discovery table in a very interesting fashion.

Action in the Blocks Center!

This friend is working with other friends to make our "view to the outside" for the bulletin board in the classroom.

Counting our owls already earned for excellence!
