Attempting to finish color groups based on the book "Stick and Stone" despite weather delays!

Children get direction on the poster picture they are to draw.  Stick and Stone are characters and are friends that explore and laze by the shore.  Children are instructed to draw a picture of themselves and a friend doing something they enjoy together.
We brainstormed some words that described this friendship during a shared writing activity.  Those words are there for children to use with their drawings.
Mrs. Heersink reviews the story and children are given scenes to put in order 1 to 6.  These picture cards encourage children to tell what is happening and to listen to others.  Later, the group used the same pictures to act out using our shadow puppets.
