Rise over run-"I wonder what will happen?"

Friends experiment with acceleration, or crashing!

THE BABY NURSERY IS READY FOR BIG BROTHERS AND SISTERS

Alphabetic Principle

The children have been rehearsing the alphabet this year, making sure to not sing it as a song, but rather recognize the individual letter names.  Children have also been provided with key vocabulary such as "keyword" to help remember the sound a letter typically makes as well as recognizing that a letter between two // denotes the sound that letter makes.  Children have also heard the words "initial and final" to denote position within a word, such as the sound /s/ is in the initial position in the word "snack".
Alphabet monkeys with upper and lower case letters.  They join hands.

Scientific Inquiry-Boat design

Students were provided with foil, and told to make a boat that would float and hold weight.  Very cool designs.

We had to decide for ourselves if our boat was taking on water.  There was a lot of
Optimism.

ICE CREAM CONTINUES INTO SUMMER MONTH OF JUNE

Poem coming home and we've practiced reading it!

Summer is Here!

Summer is here.

The year is at an end.

We’ve learned a lot and made

A lot of friends.

We’ll wave good-bye now summer’s here,

It’s time for us to part,

But we’ll remember all our friends and

Keep them in our hearts!
