Making our "Over in the Meadow" Hats for the last day of school parade!

Scissoring is an important skill that children need practice with.  Here a friend holds her scissors correctly and is stopping at the line.
Having an adult to supervise is priceless.
Children are proud when they've done the work themselves.
Observing other children's strategies for cutting is helpful.
For young students, adding lines and an anchor helps that child be independent and see their own success.  Tape is always on hand for a myriad of reasons!
Sharing the pen, literally.
Sustaining attention, persevering and concentrating are all life skills.
