Frog Life Cycle Lesson Plans

CT ELDS: S.48.6 & S.60.8
SW recognize changes in living things over their lifespan by observing similarities and differences between babies and adults (3-4 years old) and demonstrate an understanding of how living things grow and change through predictable stages (5-6 years old).

Objective(s):
  • SW use scientific terminology when discussing the life cycle of the frog.
  • SW sequence the four stages of the life cycle in correct order (eggs, tadpole, froglet,adult frog).
  • SW draw the four stages of the life cycle in correct order and use sequencing words (first, next, then, last etc.)
  • SW will describe the attributes of the life stages with peers.
